Warranty Terms

 

AUSTRALIS PRODUCT WARRANTY

The warranty and conditions of such warranties on products that Australis distributes are different on a brand-by-brand basis.  The basic warranty periods are outlined below, however it should be noted that more detailed information should be researched and can be provided if required.
The Customer agrees that these Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be construed according to the laws of the State or Territory as the Supplier may in its sole discretion determine. Proceedings may be instituted in such State or Territory as the Supplier may in its sole discretion determine. Failing such determination the Customer consents to any proceedings being instituted and heard by any appropriate Court sitting in the State of New South Wales applying the laws of the State of New South Wales.

The warranty is not a service contract, and warranty does not constitute maintenance, cleaning or periodic check-ups on equipment.  During the periods specified below Australis Music will replace defective parts at its expense with new or refurbished parts, and will absorb all expenses for warranty service and repair labour by reason of defects in material or workmanship.  The sole responsibility of Australis Music under warranty shall be limited to the repair of the product, or replacement thereof, including parts as the sole discretion of Australis Music.  The warranty is subject to the product having been used under normal operation conditions, and have not been electronically or mechanically altered in any way.  Warranty does not cover; damage or failure resulting from; faulty or improper installation, act of nature, abuse, use on incorrect voltage, alteration, accident, misuse, negligence or maladjustment including exposure to water.  Warranty will also not apply to general wear and tear due to usage.

For warranty servicing you must obtain a Return Authorisation number (RA#) through your nearest authorised Australis Music Group retailer, reseller or integrator who will then contact Australis Music directly.  The warranty on products will only be valid if the product was purchased in Australia through a recognised partner of Australis Music.  It is the owner's responsibility to establish the date and place of purchase by acceptable evidence, at the time service is sought. 

 

RETURN OF GOODS FROM RETAILERS

The Supplier may at its absolute discretion accept returned stock and provide a credit to the Customer, subject to the following:
(a) Faulty product: Claims will only be considered if lodged within 7 days of delivery;
(b) Transit damage claims will only be considered if lodged within 7 days of receipt of goods for dealers with the abovementioned insurance cover;
(c) Stock returned after 30 days will be subject to a discount of 10% of the purchase value; and
(d) Stock returned after 60 days will be subject to a discount of 20% of the purchase value.

 

MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES BY BRAND:

 

1.  BEHRINGER

The Limited Warranty applies for products purchased in Australia only.  Music Group warrants the mechanical and electronic components of this product to be free of defects in material and workmanship if used under normal operating conditions for a period of 1 year from the original date of retail purchase.  In the event that a replacement of the entire product is issued, this Limited Warranty shall apply to the replacement product for the remaining warranty period of the product replaced. 

The Limited Warranty does not cover consumable parts, such as, but not limited to fuses, batteries, cables, bulbs, guitar strings etc.

2.  BUGERA

The Limited Warranty applies for products purchased in Australia only.  Music Group warrants the mechanical and electronic components of this product to be free of defects in material and workmanship if used under normal operating conditions for a period of 1 year from the original date of retail purchase.  In the event that a replacement of the entire product is issued, this Limited Warranty shall apply to the replacement product for the remaining warranty period of the product replaced. 

The Limited Warranty does not cover consumable parts, such as, but not limited to fuses, batteries, cables, bulbs, guitar strings etc.

3.  LAB.GRUPPEN

The Limited Warranty across all products has been extended to 10 years. Products purchased since the 1st of September 2014, will be covered by the warranty timing extension. Music Group warrants the mechanical and electronic components of this product to be free of defects in material and workmanship if used under normal operating conditions for a period dependent on Product Series as listed below from the original date of retail purchase.  In the event that a replacement of the entire product is issued, this Limited Warranty shall apply to the replacement product for the remaining warranty period of the product replaced. 

The Limited Warranty does not cover consumable parts, such as, but not limited to fuses, batteries, cables, bulbs, guitar strings etc.

4.  TANNOY

The Limited Warranty across all products has been extended to 10 years. Products purchased since the 1st of September 2014, will be covered by the warranty timing extension. The Limited Warranty applies for products purchased in Australia only.  Music Group warrants the mechanical and electronic components of this product to be free of defects in material and workmanship if used under normal operating conditions for a period dependent on Product Type and Series as listed below from the original date of retail purchase.  In the event that a replacement of the entire product is issued, this Limited Warranty shall apply to the replacement product for the remaining warranty period of the product replaced.

5.  TOA ELECTRONICS

The Standard Limited Warranty on all TOA Electronic products is 3 years with exceptions listed below. 

Products with CD players - 1 year Limited Warranty (CD2011R, WAZ100SD, WSZ100L, WSZ100H)

Batteries - 1 year LImited Warranty (WB20002, BP900CE, IR200BT)

 

6.  TURBOSOUND

The Limited Warranty across all products has been extended to 10 years. Products purchased since the 1st of September 2014, will be covered by the warranty timing extension. The Limited Warranty applies for products purchased in Australia only.  In the event that a replacement of the entire product is issued, this Limited Warranty shall apply to the replacement product for the remaining warranty period of the product replaced.
